Urban
Outfitters
This project delves into the essence of Urban Outfitters' womenswear, blending market research, fabric innovation, and trend analysis to reimagine the brand’s woven product offerings. Drawing inspiration from firsthand experiences at flagship stores in Amsterdam and Los Angeles, as well as insights from the EU and USA online stores, I identified opportunities to evolve Urban Outfitters' fabric selection, silhouettes, and sensibilities.
Through a conceptual framework inspired by everyday moments, I created three distinct moods—Milk Box (Radical Rebel), Fresh Cut Flowers (Romantic Revival), and Fruit Juice (Modern Functional)—each embodying a unique aspect of the Urban Outfitters customer. These narratives informed trend-forward designs that prioritize sustainability, versatility, and a fresh take on modern style.
Using AI-generated imagery and hand-drawn sketches, I visualized key trends for Spring 2025, curating fabrics such as eco-dyed hemp, textured florals, and recycled materials to align with the brand’s ethos. The final looks reflect cross-pollinating sensibilities, enabling Urban Outfitters customers to mix and match pieces that resonate with their personal style, mood, and occasion.
This project captures the dynamic and diverse lifestyle of Urban Outfitters' muse: trend-savvy, sustainably minded, and unafraid to experiment.
